Custom Art Commissions

Here’s everything you need to know about working with me on a commissioned project for personal use.

For commercial projects, please reach out directly through my Contact Page.

How It Works

A paper craft of a cat's face with yellow eyes, pink nose, and brown, black, and white fur patterns, set against a purple background with yellow and pink paper circles.
A framed artwork of a dog with a brown face and ears, wearing a blue patterned collar with a tag labeled "HONEY." The dog is surrounded by colorful paper flowers in pink, yellow, and purple, with green leaves. A small paper bee hovers nearby, set against a wooden background.

Given my ongoing projects, I can currently accept up to two custom personal commissions per month. This includes portraits, replicas of previous pieces or any commission for personal use.

The Process

A paper art scene of a bride and groom kissing under an arch with greenery and white flowers, set in a scenic outdoor landscape with hills and mountains in the background.
  1. Initial Consultation
We’ll discuss your vision, including size, theme, colors, and specific details.

  2. Sketching Phase
I’ll create an initial sketch for your approval.

  3. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included during the sketching phase, before the paper piece is cut and assembled. Once the piece has been cut and assembled, no further changes can be made due to the nature of the work. If additional revisions are needed during the sketching phase, they may incur in additional charges.

  4. Creation
Once the sketch is finalized and approved, I’ll bring your piece to life using detailed cut-paper techniques.

  5. Delivery
Your finished artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped, or ready for pick-up, depending on your location.

Timeline

The entire process takes approximately 1–3 weeks, or more, depending on the complexity of the piece.

Payment

  • The remaining balance is due upon approval of the final piece, before delivery.

  • I’ll issue an invoice whenever a payment is due, which can be paid online via credit card or PayPal.

FAQ

  • What can I commission?
You can commission anything that translates well with cut-paper techniques. Please note, I reserve the right to decline projects that do not align with my artistic values or principles.

  • Can I cancel my commission?
You may cancel during the sketch phase, but the deposit is non-refundable as it compensates for the time invested in your project.

  • What if I need more revisions?
During the sketching phase, additional revisions can be accommodated at a set rate per revision.

  • Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Shipping costs vary depending on your location.
