Lotería de Papel

This ongoing project reimagines all 54 cards from La Lotería, one of Mexico's most beloved games and a cornerstone of its culture. Each card is recreated using my hand-cut paper technique, blending traditional imagery with my own contemporary style. The series is inspired by nostalgia for the vibrant culture of my home country and celebrates the stories, symbols, and traditions that continue to connect generations of Mexicans.

Previously exhibited at ArtsKC Gallery (2024) and the Consulate of Mexico in Kansas City (2025).
